Can you shoot waterfowl from a boat?
a boat unless the boat is propelled by muscular power or is at anchor and the person is hunting, I am not sure how enforcement people interpret this but to me it looks like if your prop or jet leg is in the water and you are moving (drifting) you can not shoot from that boat.
Can you shoot a goose on the ground?
It is perfectly legal to shoot geese on the water (including in Maryland), or for that matter shooting them on the ground also. In some peoples opinion it is not sporting or ethical. I’m not one to go jump shoot a flock of birds in a field or loafing on water, but if geese land in my decoys, they are getting shot. X2!
