Be more aware of the little things in life – see and enjoy the diversity and beauty of the life and colors on a tree – and share it with others.
That is what I will be doing as a participant of the Tree Year Project. Every week I will take a photo of my favourite tree, a hundred year old Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) which was planted in a small public garden near my house, probably sometime around 1900.

More about this beautiful giant next week.
