Here are some of my favourite morning coffee spots in Africa.

My most favourite one is morning coffee from the deck of a Safari tent at Lower Sabie Rest Camp. I love watching the world wake up and see all the birds fly over the river. The Sabie River is a bit like a highway during those early hours.

Some of the birds come a bit closer, looking for an easy breakfast.

The Deli @ Satara is another of my favourite spots, especially after days of drinking Nescafé (yuk). I wrote about the Deli in my trip report. Which I still have to finish. Preferably before our next trip to Kruger NP.

Sadly I don’t seem to have any photos. Will have to go back then 🙂

Last time I also very much enjoyed my morning coffee at the Sirheni bird hide.

The bird hide was located right in front of our bungalow, so only a few steps away.

It was just me, my coffee and the birds. Bestest way to start the day.
